Show & Tell... Dear future kiddos, here's how I met your Father :)

1. Tell us about how and when you met your love and what attracted you most to him.

We met in September of 2005 when I started working at Subway {he was my manager}. It took us over a year to even realize we were interested in one another {November 2006 was when we hung out for the first time, however it wasn't by choice it was at a mutual friends birthday party}.

That was the first time we actually saw each other outside of the "work" environment. I didn't know how to get to the hotel downtown where the party was taking place so we met at a gas station and I followed him. We could not find our way to the room when we got there, it was an entertaining few minutes being lost together, it was then I first really saw his personality and sense of humor come out. By the end of the night I was a bit smitten, he walked me to my car since it was late and in a parking garage {he wasn't leaving but wanted to make sure I got to my car... *awww*}

I was very intrigued and attracted to his sense of humor, personality & chivalry... He had qualities that I honestly had never seen in a guy that age {& yes he is still that same funny, crazy & gentlemanly guy**}

2. Show us the very first {or one of the first} pictures you guys ever took together. {Feel free to show us more than one}

This was our first picture ever taken together... New Years Eve 2006/2007 **We started dating December 27th 2006**

3. Tell us some of your favorite memories that you two had together.

Oh gosh, there are so many. The one I have to say is one of my all time favorites is before we started dating... It was December 23rd 2006, I don't exactly remember if it was him who asked me or if I asked him, but either way we decided to go see Christmas lights together out by Six Flags {which is about a 20-25 minute drive from my house}. We found the right exit, however the direction of which way the line was starting confused me and we came up on a light, apparently you could only make a left or a right & since I had driven through these lights multiple times with my family he had asked me which direction... Well, I said straight... He listened & we ended up back on the highway, driving away from the lights. Eventually we did find our way back and got in the right line & got to drive through the lights... I like to consider this our first date. He still gives me so much trouble, "I said 'left or right' and you said 'go straight'... I should of known from that point on what I was in for." My response? "Well, you listened to me."

This story has pretty much set the tone of our entire relationship, and I absolutely love it.

4. Tell us your favorite qualities about this man, what makes him "the one."

Honestly, everything about him. There isn't one quality that makes him more "the one" than any other. It is a combination of everything that he is. The fact that we are polar opposites in a lot of ways, yet the same person in many others. We have a lot of the same tastes in movies, books, TV, activities we enjoy partaking it, but we do have our own things, the things that make us our own people. Another thing is how crazy he is, how he perceives life... I mean, it's so hard to explain, he is the most optimistic pessimist I have ever met in my life. It takes a LOT to get him down, but he is also extremely realistic {sometimes to the point that it makes me mad lol}. His way to deal with me when I'm mad? Do absolutely anything and everything to make me laugh, it's like his secret weapon, getting mad just isn't an option for him unless he gets pushed way too far but even then, his mad isn't really crazy. Like I said, I just can't explain it but I can feel it & I know, without a shadow of a doubt, there is absolutely no one else out there for me but him :)

5. Tell us what your "date nights" typically look like.

Usually just going out to dinner, coming back home and chilling out on the couch watching TV or a movie with the pups. Never anything crazy but perfect for the two of us.
