25 in 25
2:20:00 PMSo I have been reading a bunch of bloggers lists of things they want to accomplish within the next year of their lives... & just like all of them I too have a list of things that I would like to accomplish! {My 24th birthday is a little over a month away so I am going to do my 25 things I want to do before I turn 25}
1. Go back to school, it is killing me that I am not in classes right now... Went to Target yesterday with Andrew & as we walked by the school supply section he grabs my hand and goes "I know you are just itching to check out all the school supplies but we have to go"... He knows me too well. I just have to decide what I want to go back for... decisions, decisions!
4. Figure out exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life {career wise} I have a great job right now which I am luckier than anything to have, but it has never been my end game... There is just so much more that I want to do... Now it's just finding that career path!
5. Meet at least one fellow blogger in real life... I keep reading about all these other bloggers meeting up with one another & I am completely jealous!
6. Go on a true road trip with Andrew... sure we have driven to a destination but never from one place to the next... I have no clue where we would go but just to go would be fabulous.
7. {Hesitantly} Sky dive... Andrew has been wanting to go for some time now & I'm not gonna lie, it scares me senseless to even think about jumping out of a plane but at the same time... It could possibly be one of the best most exhilarating experiences... Anyone have any thoughts?!
8. Read a whole lot more... Maybe a new book every two weeks?! This will be a bit of a feat if I actually do it but it's definitely possible {Suggestions?!}
9. Start the baby making process... This has been something Andrew & I have talked about a lot in the past few months, so within the next year we will possibly start working on it :){Notice I say possibly <-- this is strictly for my family & by family I mean sisters who are insistent on having a niece or a nephew like yesterday}
10. Work out way more... I do a little here and there but I really need to get into a routine
11. To coincide with number 10, start eating better... I will admit that I have been doing excellent lately & always have had a taste for foods that are way better for you than say fast food... But at the same time I need to cut things like that out entirely... Maybe this year will be the year!
17. Fence in our back yard... we have a half an acre lot & it't gonna cost a butt load of money to fence it off but our little pups need it badly {actually, mama needs it badly... Nothing worse than having to leash them up & walk around with them every single time they have to go potty, this is one of the reasons why we moved out of the apartment}
18. Be the best wife I can be... I know that he will tell you time and time again that I'm the best {blush} but I know I could be way better & I promise that I will do my best! :)
19. Use my twitter account more... I usually just sit back and read what everyone else is saying but I really need to get in the habit of "tweeting" more, I am always so jealous of everyone having fun conversations {want to tweet with me & help me out with this one?! follow me @medvm07}
20. Make more home cooked meals. For a while there I was cooking about 5 nights a week, now with both of us working & me not getting home until close to 5 sometimes it's hard & I'm just not in the mood to cook after work... So maybe shoot for 3 to 4 nights a week?!
21. Drink more water & way less coffee {Seriously, it's an issue for me}
This is my life in a nutshell |
22. Keep a journal. I have always been jealous of those people who keep a journal religiously & can, at any point, go back to any day that they wish and relive everything that happened. I am a big believer in moving forward & living your life in the present not the past, however I would love to be able to look back at any day of the previous year & relive the memories & emotions {all too soon do we forget.}
23. Have a planner & actually use it. I just ordered one from Erin Condren & I am super excited to start using it {Thanks to Megan over at Growing up is Actually Kind of Fun for hosting the giveaway where I won it :)} But seriously, I need to stick to it... I have a huge issue with overbooking myself so this is a must.
24. Create an epic-ly successful Link-Up with a fellow blogger... again, this blog of mine is something that I have enjoyed writing for & I would love to be able to collaborate with someone else just like me and create something amazing for other bloggers to be involved in!
25. Just have fun... Not take things & life too seriously all of the time {Andrew is definitely my other half in this aspect, he is always goofing around & joking about things yes even when we are arguing which makes me even more mad}. I want to be able to let go and laugh at things that usually aggravate the heck out of me.
Well I think that about does it... Hopefully this next year will be filled with a bunch of new & exciting adventures! Make sure you link up with ERIN from LIVING IN YELLOW & post your own "25 in 25" or "26 in 26", "27 in 27" well you get the idea :)

I love lists like this. I could never, ever sky dive. My sister and her husband were both sky divers and did over a thousand jumps each which is pretty awesome !

What a great list! I especially like how tied to books you are! I'm a definite book worm who no longer has time to read!
