1. Miss Mab passed out after our walk /// 2. Margarita's for my Birthday, went out for Mexican with Andrew to celebrate /// 3. My Birthday spread made by my parents, Red Velvet, German Chocolate & Yellow cupcakes along with the most amazing pudding layered cake ever {there were only 6 of us to eat all of this...} OH & my dad even made a nifty little raised platform so the cupcakes sat out all nicely /// 4. Sporting my new scarf, skulls & hearts, $10 at Charlotte Russe /// 5. Storms galore around these parts, that was at about 4:30, all the street lights were on /// 6. This is probably my fourth Pumpkin Spice Latte so far, I'm obsessed {& by the time this post goes up I will probably have had at least one more!} /// 7. Speaking of pumpkin spice, have you guys checked out Neely's giveaway on her blog A Complete Waste of Makeup?! Just go check it out, win yourself a latte or two ;) /// 8. Red Velvet cupcake sandwich. My mother introduced me to this nifty trick, pull off the bottom of the cupcake and place it on top over the icing, seriously best thing ever... You get the perfect amount of icing in each bite WITHOUT making a mess with it {it may not impress you but it has made me a happy girl} /// 9. Last but DEFINITELY not least, our wonderful pups welcomed us home from vacation in amazing style. Can they get any cuter?!?
It's finally Friday, woo! I can't tell you how excited I am for this work week to be over & start the weekend!!
SO, who watched the VMA's last night?! I did while drinking about half of a bottle of wine, I even resorted to bringing the bottle with me into the living room so that I didn't have to make multiple trips to fill up my glass... Makes sense right!?
I was pretty impressed. Kevin Hart was hilarious & I admit to re-watching his opening when the show was replayed. One Direction cleaned house by winning everything they were nominated for, even beating out Justin Bieber {did anyone even see him last night, did I miss something?!}.
I was very moved by Frank Ocean's performance, sadly I had never even heard of him until last night *ashamed* but I do believe I have found a new artist that will take over my iPod for a while. Miley Cyrus anyone?! I was one of those people who were appalled when she cut her hair but last night, she owned it & I was loving it...
Who else is excited for the new Twilight movie coming out in November? Me! Cheesy is to be expected but I don't even care, I'm obsessed and the teaser trailer last night, yup definitely can't wait! It should be interesting to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson during promotion {notice, she was not there last night :( }. And as I drifted off to sleep last night the lovely words by Miss Taylor Swift replayed in my head... over & over & over again... repetitive much?!?
What was your favorite part of the VMAs?

As promised I am going to share with you all the final installment of our pictures from Mexico. I have always wanted to do a mini photo session on the beach with Andrew {a few years back we did one with my fam when we were in Destin & I really enjoyed it}. When we got there that was one of the things that I was determined to look into & to my surprised the session was free, all you had to do was purchase the pictures you like... Awesome! So here are the ones that we chose...
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, see you Monday!! :)
Here is how our days played out... We would wake up {and by "we" I mean me, he would usually get up around 7, go to the beach, read & come back to get me} around 8:30 & get to breakfast around 9. This usually included an incredible egg white omelet made to order, coffee and as many sides as you could ever want. We would then go back to the room, lather the suntan lotion on, get ready & go to the beach where we would set up camp for the entire day; where we would drink cocktails like they were water {seriously, the guy bringing around the drinks got to know what we drank & there were a couple times he would just bring us refills without asking... Who couldn't get used to that?!}
Around 3ish every day we would head to the lunch buffet & eat overlooking the ocean {gorgeous!} By the time we finished we would either head back to the beach for round two or go back to the room to take a nap, shower & get ready for dinner.
The first two nights we made reservations at two restaurants on the resort, first night the Steak House, pretty darn good. BUT the second night was my fave, the Japanese Steak House {sushi galore} & I absolutely loved it, I conquered the art of chop-sticks... Andrew, not so much, he used his fork and knife {& was a bit bitter about my ability to just learn on a whim :P} We had an awesome waiter who introduced us to the Sake Bomb pretty much a jager bomb just with sake... & you just hit the table, the shot drops into the beer & bam, ya drink!!

The rest of the trip we just went to the buffet, where they had a make your own pasta bar {seriously, who comes up with this stuff... & maybe it's just me & this isn't that impressive but humor me please?} So after dinner we would make our way out of the restaurants to the outdoor seating where we spent our evenings drinking, talking, watching the band that was playing as well as the theater show they put on every night. So basically that is what the entire seven days consisted of & I loved every single second of it.
Here are some more pictures of our nightly adventures... check out our daytime happenings from yesterday's post HERE
